I was recently in the heart of wine country in Sonoma, CA and in need of a bookstore fix (as tends to happen whenever I travel anywhere) and found myself at Readers’ Books in Sonoma.
This delightful independent bookstore was a mix of new and used books, with both shelved together and small colored stickers on the spines indicating used copies. I loved this concept and wish more bookstores did this!
I managed to find some great bargains priced at only a few dollars each, as well as a newer release with David Joy’s The Weight of This World.
Highly recommend this store if you’re visiting the region! The store is located right in Sonoma town square so nice and handy if you’re wine tasting nearby. Stop in to Hare & Hatter Sausage Emporium for a breakfast bagel if you’re an early bird like me (just around the corner to the bookstore!).
